
Crimson Key Society members are selected for their enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for Harvard history. As student ambassadors, members use these traits to lead Harvard's official historical walking tours. CKS tours are free of charge and offered to dignitaries, visiting University affiliates, and the general public.
During the tour, students usher groups around Harvard Yard for an hour, discussing key historical points, telling anecdotes, answering questions, and weaving in their own experience.
Tours for the general public depart from the Harvard Events and Information Center on 1350 Massachusetts Avenue. Tour schedules vary throughout the year; in order to find the current schedule click on the link below:
Starting on September 8 and through the academic year, tours leave the Harvard Events & Information Center at:
10AM, 12PM and 2PM | Monday - Saturday |
Any visitor is welcome to join one of the free campus tours offered from the Events & Information Center. The tours leave the center in the:
